| Our Inspiration
The Siri Singh Sahib Bhai Sahib Harbhajan Singh Khalsa Yogi Ji was the founder and leader of 3ho. He personally ordered all three members of the Chardi Kalaa Jatha to study Gurmat as well as many other things in India. In the summers, the Jatha would visit Yogi Ji in New Mexico and would sit at his feet and learn. Aside from Gurbani, Yogi Ji would tell stories and jokes and always made sure that they remembered their position as ambassadors of 3ho. He said that they are not ‘Raagis’ as the term goes, that their job is much more and will involve other aspects of Sikhism than Gurbani Kirtan. When the Siri Singh Sahib would visit India, the Jatha had the honor of serving him on security and hospitality detail. This involved hosting his guests and protecting him throughout travel in India. The Siri Singh Sahib is their master and teacher and it is through the grace of the Siri Guru Granth Sahib that they were able to learn from him and be in his presence. The Siri Singh Sahib is also the founder of Miri Piri Academy in Amritsar Punjab where many young students learn about the Guru and how to live as human beings. |
